Trevor Fenters brings strike-throwing relief upside and late-inning poise to Indiana State
Fenters stands out as a big-framed right-hander who already showed college-ready efficiency and composure, posting a 1.82 ERA with a 48:10 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 42.1 innings in his listed Indiana State bio, and he also logged a career-high 2.0-inning relief stint in a March 2026 win. His fastball sat 85-88 mph in pre-college scouting, paired with a usable slider/cutter look and a feel for sequencing, which suggests a pitchability arm more than a pure velocity play. He looks like a useful fit for teams valuing control, strike-throwing, and bullpen flexibility.[4][5][7][1]
