Joey Morton is Campbell’s power bat and clutch playoff trigger
In the 2026 season, Campbell infielder Joey Morton was a first-team preseason All-CAA pick and backed it up with a monster year: he led the CAA with 20 home runs and 71 RBI, and his four-homer explosion against UNCW tied the most homers in a Division I game that season. He brings middle-of-the-order thunder, steady infield value, and big-moment confidence — the kind of hitter who changes a game with one swing and a team’s mood with his edge. If you want instant lineup juice, Morton is absolutely worth the buzz.
