Kanious Davis gives Alcorn a true two-way spark
In the 2026 season, Kanious Davis stood out as a versatile Braves weapon, hitting for power and contact while also taking meaningful innings on the mound. He finished the year with a .314 batting average, 36 runs, 43 hits and a solo homer in key SWAC play, while also contributing as a pitcher and showing the toughness to handle both roles. Davis looks like a scrappy, multi-use roster fit who brings energy, athleticism, and lineup flexibility—exactly the kind of player coaches love when they need grit, not glam.
