JD Crisp is Xavier’s contact-first, all-field sophomore with sneaky pop and speed
JD Crisp is carving out a real role for Xavier in the 2026 season: he’s hitting .216 with a .613 OPS across 52 games, adding 24 hits, 3 homers, 9 RBI and 6 steals, while showing enough versatility to handle center field and keep the lineup moving[3]. A left-handed hitter with a solid 6-foot, 190-pound frame, he already flashed at-bats in tougher spots and has shown he can contribute beyond the box score with energy, baserunning and run scoring[1][14][15].
