Aileen Marquez is UNC Asheville’s steady, high-volume floor-spacer with clutch-shot upside
In the 2025-26 season, Aileen Marquez has been one of UNC Asheville’s most reliable perimeter threats, averaging 8.1 points per game with 59 made threes and a .391 three-point percentage in conference play, while also adding defensive activity with 1.9 steals per game in the Big South stats package[7][8]. She’s a veteran 5-8 guard who brings proven scoring pedigree from multiple stops, including being a former all-conference scorer and a preseason all-conference pick at Morehead State, which says she can fit a team that wants toughness, shot-making, and a guard who isn’t afraid of the moment[1].
