Sam Sessoms brings proven shot creation and high-volume scoring punch to Coppin State
Sessoms is a compact, crafty guard whose best calling card is getting buckets and setting the table: at Binghamton he led the America East in scoring as a sophomore, and at Coppin State he showed he can carry offense with efficient scoring bursts and double-digit assist upside. He’s a savvy pick-and-roll creator with deep shot-making range, but the fit question is whether a team can live with some turnover volatility and middling size. If you need a confident ball-dominant guard who can create his own shot and keep the offense moving, he’s worth real attention.
