Two-Way Wing With Starter-Level NBA Impact
Grimes is a high-motor guard who stands out for his spot-up shooting, secondary playmaking, and disruptive defense; in the 2025-26 regular season he averaged 13.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 0.9 steals in 29.4 minutes per game, showing he can contribute without needing the ball every possession.[11][5] He fits best on teams that value pace, spacing, and point-of-attack effort, though his value is strongest when he’s used as a versatile connector rather than a primary creator.[4][11]
