Belmont's Elite Sharpshooter Turned NBA Bench Spark for Pacers
Ben Sheppard, the 2022-23 All-MVC First Team guard from Belmont Bruins, dazzled in college with 600+ points, 75+ assists, and 75+ threes at 40% clip, earning Mid-Major All-American honors for his off-dribble shooting prowess (48.7% college 3s off the dribble). Now a 24-year-old Pacers perimeter creator, he's thriving in 2025-26 with 7.1 PTS, 3.0 REB, 1.8 AST (43.4% FG), carving a consistent bench role despite a hip injury sidelining him until October 2026. His defensive intensity (1.4 SPG senior year) and 75 OVR in NBA 2K26 make him a sneaky fit for teams needing spacing and hustle.
