UC Davis OF Sophia Fountaine is still waiting for her on-field breakout
In the 2026 season, Sophia Fountaine was listed on UC Davis’ roster as a sophomore outfielder from Sacramento, but the Aggies’ official bio says she did not play that season, so there’s no current stat line to lean on yet. The upside here is projection: a local product in a major college program with right-handed pop/athletic outfield value on paper, but she remains more of a watch-list name than an established impact bat right now. If you need immediate production, she’s not the obvious plug-and-play answer; if you’re betting on development, there’s at least a clean runway for upside.
