Dustin Cochran brings big-frame upside and “mauler” traits to South Dakota’s offensive line
Cochran is a 6-5, 280-pound freshman OL from Wichita Northwest who arrives with clear developmental upside and a reputation for physical dominance at the prep level. South Dakota signed him after a 2025 high school season in which his team went 10-2, won the GWAL and regional titles, and Cochran was credited with 50+ pancakes, a strong hint that he plays with finish and edge. He looks like a fit for a program that values size, power, and long-term trench growth more than instant flash.
