Finland-born WKU guard Enni Ahervuo brings size, shooting touch and real international edge
Enni Ahervuo entered Western Kentucky in 2025-26 as a 5-foot-10 freshman guard from Espoo, Finland, and flashed a useful all-around skill set: in her WKU debut she scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds, and her background suggests a player who can stretch the floor, handle physical play, and chip in across multiple categories. In 2025 overseas play, she averaged 6.1 points and 2.6 rebounds in Finland’s top league, plus 18.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.9 steals in the U19 league, which hints at upside beyond the box score. She also comes from a basketball family, with a mother who played at WKU, so the fit is part pedigree, part polish, and part steady guard toughness.
