Experienced UTRGV guard who brings steady scoring punch
Shaun Noriega profiles as a veteran, shot-capable guard for UTRGV, with a history of contributing as a perimeter scorer and enough size for a backcourt role. In his listed ESPN season line, he averaged 4.6 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.4 assists while shooting 36.3% from the field, suggesting a player whose value is more about spacing and spot-up threat than high-usage playmaking. His high school résumé also points to proven three-point production, which helps explain why coaches may view him as a fit for lineups needing floor spacing and a low-drama role player.
