Vito Paonessa is a big-bodied Dayton interior lineman showing early-game production
In the 2026 season, Dayton DT Vito Paonessa has appeared in 5 games and logged 4 total tackles, giving the Flyers a 6-foot-5, 285-pound presence inside who can absorb space and hold up the middle. He’s a former three-year varsity standout from Kent, Ohio, and his profile suggests a classic developmental trench piece: length, size, and enough early reps to hint at growing trust from the staff. If your team wants a disruptive, high-upside interior defender rather than a finished product, he’s one to keep an eye on.
