Pacific’s Justin Iglesias: High-upside righty with size, strikeout feel, and freshman-season growing pains
Iglesias is a 6-foot-4 right-hander for Pacific who already showed he can miss bats, striking out 20 in 25.0 innings across 20 appearances as a 2025 freshman, including three punchouts in his college debut. His profile is built on projection: a big frame, starter/relief versatility, and the kind of arm that can develop into more if his command tightens. The current ERA reflects some inconsistency, but he’s the type of pitcher a staff might like for upside, competitiveness, and room to grow rather than immediate polish.[1][2][5]
