Ella Cook is a rare two-way force and the Summit League’s 2026 Player of the Year
Cook stands out because she can beat teams two ways: in the 2026 season, she led St. Thomas with a .360 batting average, 14 home runs, 51 RBI, and a 1.166 OPS while also posting a league-best 1.99 ERA, making her one of the Summit League’s most valuable all-around players. She earned the conference’s Player of the Year award after showing strike-throwing poise, power, and clutch production, including complete-game shutout work and big offensive weekends. If you want a pitcher who can also carry the lineup, she’s an elite fit.
