Nygal Russell brings two-way guard versatility and steady experience to Towson
Russell profiles as a reliable, older guard who can help a team with size, rebounding, and secondary playmaking rather than just scoring. Across recent seasons, he has shown a solid all-around game, including a 2024-25 line of 7.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while playing 27.8 minutes, with respectable shooting splits and defensive activity. What makes him interesting is the blend of physicality and experience: he rebounds like a wing, can space the floor, and has enough poise to fit a structured team that values toughness and low-drama production.
