UNCW's Steady Veteran Forward with Solid Bench Production
Dylan Sherwood, a reliable forward for the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, delivers consistent career averages of 3.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 42.3% FG efficiency across his college tenure, peaking at 5.8 points and 2.5 boards per game in his 2014-15 junior season where he appeared in 29 of 32 games and notched five double-figure scoring outings. His gritty, dependable role-player style shines in limited minutes, making him a low-risk fit for teams needing hustle, rebounding tenacity, and bench stability—perfect for mid-major or developmental programs without flashy star power.
