Albany’s workhorse righty still has growth on the mound
In the 2026 season, Albany right-hander Jameson Walsh has been used in a starter’s role and has shown grit more than flash: he allowed one run over 2.0 innings against Le Moyne on May 12, 2026, and his Albany bio lists him as a 6-foot, 215-pound redshirt freshman with a strong multi-sport background and high-school all-league honors. His pitchability, toughness, and frame suggest upside, but the current stat line also says he’s still a developing arm rather than a finished product. If your team wants a competitive, durable project with some starter traits, Walsh is worth a look.
