SIUE’s McKayla Anderson emerged as a reliable sophomore arm with poise in big spots
Anderson showed real value in 2025, finishing 7-8 with a 3.68 ERA over 70.1 innings and four complete games, including a three-hit shutout of Tennessee State and a complete-game win that helped knock Southeast Missouri out of the OVC Tournament.[1][7] SIUE also used her in pressure relief, and the conference noted she held Morehead State to a two-hit gem while limiting hitters to a .077 average in that outing.[4] For a team looking for a steady, gritty left-side presence who competes and can finish games, she looks like a useful fit.[1][4][13]
