Jackson Forrest is Old Dominion’s young edge-chasing linebacker with real splash-play juice
In the 2025 season, Jackson Forrest played in all 13 games for Old Dominion and posted 52 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble, giving the Monarchs a disruptive linebacker who can live in the backfield.[2][3] He was also described by one outlet as the fourth-highest graded linebacker in the country over a 307-snap sample as a true freshman, and his speed-plus-strength profile stands out because he can rush off the edge, take on blockers, and finish plays. He looks like a strong fit for a defense that wants a hungry, multi-use LB with upside and some bite.
