Owen Spell brings rare tackle size, swing flexibility, and trusted depth to UCF’s line
In the 2025 season, Owen Spell appeared in all 12 games for UCF, started twice at left tackle, and helped a line that earned Big 12 Offensive Line of the Week honors after allowing zero sacks against North Carolina; in 2026, he’s been working into a first-team right guard role in camp. At 6-foot-8 and about 305 pounds, he offers massive frame, position versatility at both tackle spots, and clear off-field value too, earning academic recognition and a Wuerffel Trophy watch-list nod for service. He’s a strong fit for a team that needs dependable, plug-and-play trench depth with upside.
