Big-bodied righty with mid-rotation upside for Hofstra
Aidan Scott is a 6-foot-4 right-handed pitcher who arrives at Hofstra with a solid prep résumé: he helped Columbia (N.Y.) win a state title in 2023, posted a 2.93 ERA that season, and followed with a 2.80 ERA as a junior in 2024. He looks like the kind of arm that can grow into a dependable college starter or leverage reliever thanks to his size, pitching background, and multi-sport athleticism. The fit is intriguing if Hofstra wants a projectable, durable arm with upside rather than a finished product.
