Gophers’ Weekend-Rotation Workhorse with Big-Game Bite
In the 2026 season, Isaac Morton emerged as a reliable right-handed starter for Minnesota, earning All-Big Ten second team honors after posting a 4-2 record, 3.26 ERA, 63 strikeouts, and a .211 opponent batting average across 60.2 innings. He’s a polished strike-thrower with real swing-and-miss ability, and his outings show he can handle length and pressure — including a six-inning shutout to open the season and a seven-inning gem against Illinois. For a team, that means a tough, dependable arm with frontline weekend upside.
