Mitchell Wilbekin brings proven Wake Forest shooting pedigree and steady backcourt experience
Wilbekin is best known as a high-level perimeter shooter and experienced guard, finishing his Wake Forest career with 197 three-pointers, sixth-most in program history, while appearing in 119 games and starting 89.[6] Recruiting-era evaluations described him as an *outstanding shooter* with a projectable frame, which lines up with his value as a spacing guard who can fit next to creators and punish help defense.[5] The current public records also show he has continued his career professionally after Wake Forest, so the main appeal is his established shooting touch and game experience rather than raw upside.[1][3][4]
