Ella Gandolfo brings speed, on-base juice, and quiet-leadership energy to Yale
In the 2026 season, Ella Gandolfo was a spark-plug outfielder for Yale, starting 43 of 44 games and hitting .250 with a .400 on-base percentage, 24 walks, and a team-high 20 runs scored by late March. Her biggest differentiator is table-setting speed and discipline: she ranked among Yale’s most reliable run creators, while Yale also highlighted her 2025 impact as a .292 hitter with a .442 OBP and six multi-hit games. Add in strong high-school pedigree, captaincy experience, and a Golden Glove award, and you’ve got a player who helps a roster in more ways than the box score shows.
