Strikeout Arm with Swing-and-Miss Bite for Southern Indiana
In the 2025 season, Ian Anderson gave Southern Indiana a high-leverage bullpen weapon, leading the Screaming Eagles with 4 saves, posting a 5.72 ERA in 39.1 innings, and striking out 39 batters while working in 26 games.[1][4] USI’s staff praised him as a potential “strikeout machine” with a power arm and big-time breaking ball, and that fits the profile: he’s a right-hander who can miss bats, handle pressure, and give a team late-inning swagger when the game tightens up.[12]
