LMU’s high-volume scoring guard with proven playmaking chops
James Batemon starred for Loyola Marymount in the 2018-19 season, when he averaged 16.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game while showing efficient scoring touch and real defensive activity. His LMU résumé shows a bigger differentiator than box-score scoring: he could carry an offense, create for others, and pressure the ball with a competitive edge that coaches love. He later kept producing professionally, which reinforces that his game translates beyond college. If a team wants a tough, shot-making lead guard who can bend defenses, Batemon is absolutely worth the look.
