Ty McGraw brings big-frame upside and sneaky pop to Troy’s infield
Ty McGraw is a 6-3, 205-pound redshirt freshman INF for Troy who was recruited as a left-handed bat with real power potential and first-base value. In the 2026 season, he saw limited action offensively, but Troy’s own preseason/roster notes and signing-day profile point to the key differentiators: size, left-handed power, and a developing defensive profile that could play well as he adds explosion. The fit is intriguing for a team wanting upside and patience, especially if they can unlock more impact against higher-level pitching.
