Zachary Scott brings veteran infield pop and clutch RBI juice for UMass Lowell
A senior infielder for UMass Lowell, Zachary Scott has shown real value as a run-producer and gap-to-gap contact hitter in the 2026 season, including multi-hit, RBI-driven games against Maine, Binghamton, San Francisco, and Boston College. At 6-foot-1, 192 pounds, he gives the River Hawks an experienced, physical infield presence with the kind of situational hitting that plays in tight games. He looks like a steady fit for a lineup that wants toughness, versatility, and some sneaky offensive punch—not just empty at-bats.
