Nick Boyle brings starter-quality arm talent, but command is the swing skill
In the 2026 season, Xavier RHP Nick Boyle has flashed real upside with a strong outing against Georgetown, where he worked 3.0 scoreless innings with 2 strikeouts, but also showed the volatility that comes with a young power arm, including a 10.80 ERA line in an April outing at Vanderbilt. His calling card is the right-handed frame and stuff that scouts have liked for years, and his breakthrough trait is strikeout ability when he’s synced up. If your team wants ceiling, he’s interesting; if you need pitch-to-contact stability, the wild card is still very much in play.
