Bella DiGiandomenico gives Iona a legit two-way option in the circle and at the plate
In the 2026 season, Bella DiGiandomenico posted a 3.66 ERA across 59.1 innings with four complete games, highlighted by her first Gaels win, a complete-game effort, and a shutout of Siena; she also brings added value as an infielder and pinch-run option. The big draw is her toughness and versatility: Iona trusted her in starts, relief, and high-leverage spots, and her prep résumé already showed front-line upside as a two-time All-Met and Maryland state champion. For a staff that wants competitive strike-throwing and flexibility, she’s a useful, battle-tested fit.
