Trusted depth back with burst, but 2026 injury clouds his year
Micah Ka'apana entered 2026 as a depth RB for Michigan after flashing in limited snaps in 2025, when he logged 10 carries for 38 yards and one catch for 8 yards across four games. The former Bishop Gorman three-star brings compact size, experience in a big program, and enough versatility to contribute in the run and pass game. The catch: a lower-leg injury is expected to sideline him for the 2026 season, so the long-term fit is about rebound value and depth rather than immediate impact.
