Undersized Spark Plug with Elite Quickness and Defensive Upside
At 5-8 and 155 lbs, Austin Peay sophomore guard Terrell Gaines (1.8 PPG, 0.2 RPG, 25% FG in 5 MPG during 2025-26) is a lightning-quick pest on defense, leveraging explosive athleticism to disrupt plays despite limited minutes. His high school pedigree as Liberty's all-time leading scorer (2,119+ points) and 'jack-of-all-trades' versatility—scoring at all levels, leading in steals—hints at untapped scoring potential. Care about him for his relentless intensity and pesky style that fits teams needing bench energy and perimeter pressure; ideal for programs valuing grit over size.
