Howard outfielder Jocelyn James brings speed-first upside and development appeal
Jocelyn James is a Howard outfielder whose profile points to a speed-and-coverage defender with left-handed versatility and strong academic discipline from her high-school recruiting background, making her a fit if you want athleticism and room to grow rather than a proven power bat. Howard’s roster page does not list current season statistics, so there is no reliable public stat line here to judge 2026 production, but available recruiting materials and video tags identify her as a left-handed, speed-oriented outfielder/first baseman. That makes her most intriguing as a high-upside add for a staff that values range, energy, and developmental potential over immediate offensive volume.[1][3][4]
