Jaxon Haynes brings real middle-of-the-order juice for MVSU
In the 2026 season, Mississippi Valley State catcher Jaxon Haynes has been a productive senior bat with pop, posting a .244 average, .776 OPS, 4 home runs, 5 doubles and 11 RBIs in 30 games, while also drawing 7 walks and getting hit 3 times. He’s the kind of catcher who can change an inning with one swing—he even went 4-for-5 with two homers and 4 RBIs in a March 11 comeback win, a loud reminder that his ceiling is bigger than the raw average.
