Primo Spears is a high-usage, high-leverage guard who can carry an offense
In the 2024-25 season at UTSA, Primo Spears was the Roadrunners’ primary shot-creator and scorer, averaging 19.8 points while also leading the team with 4.0 assists per game and 1.7 steals, and he earned Second-Team All-AAC honors.[13] His best trait is volume scoring with playmaking juice: he can create his own shot, get to the line, and force turnovers defensively, which makes him valuable if your team needs a lead guard who can stabilize late-game possessions.[13] The main question is efficiency, since he has been a capable but not elite high-volume shooter, so he fits best with spacing and other creators around him.[1][11]
