Western Carolina’s 6-foot-5 guard Haboubacar Mutombo brings versatile scoring, rebounding, and playmaking
In the 2017-18 season, Haboubacar Mutombo led Western Carolina in scoring at 11.7 points per game and also added 5.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, a strong sign of a guard who can impact the game in more than one way.[7][15] He had a knack for getting hot in meaningful spots, including a 25-point career high, and earlier flashes like a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double showed real two-way versatility.[7][2] At 6-5, he offered size on the perimeter, could attack the glass, and gave the Catamounts a reliable, multi-use creator rather than a one-trick scorer.[12][7]
