TJ Grant is a versatile Mercer wing who brings rebounds, energy, and connective play
Grant’s current role for Mercer is that of a low-usage, high-effort glue piece: in the 2025-26 season he has been around 7 minutes per game with roughly 1 point, 1.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.5 steals per game, while last season he flashed his best version with a career-high 13 points, a 10-rebound outing at South Carolina, and a season-high 33 minutes in a road test. He looks like a fit for teams needing a physical, unselfish G/F who can rebound, defend, and handle small bursts of playmaking rather than carry offense.
