FIU addition Cayce Kavakich brings proven strikeout stuff and two-way upside
Cayce Kavakich arrives at Florida International after a decorated Cedar Grove career that included 1,000 strikeouts, back-to-back Group 1 titles, and a 2025 senior season with 37 runs, 14 doubles, and 25 RBI; scouting notes describe her as a true two-way threat with a fastball in the low 60s, multiple pitches for strikes, and enough bat/position flexibility to help in the circle, the outfield, or as an emergency lineup piece[1][2][3][4][6].
