Charlotte Laidler gives Columbia a left-handed bullpen spark with upside
Charlotte Laidler is a senior lefty who gives Columbia a flexible pitching option with real value in relief and spot starts. In the 2025 season, she shared the team lead with two wins and two saves, and Columbia noted she finished her rookie season with a 5.76 ERA over 20.2 innings while appearing in 11 games and earning her first career win against Fairfield; in 2026, she was again used in meaningful relief work and carried a 1-3 record in late-season box scores. Her biggest differentiators are her left-handed look, versatility as a P/1B, and proven ability to take the ball in pressure spots.
