McGarrh brings ACU a two-way arm with real workload value
In the 2026 season, Cade McGarrh gave Abilene Christian a useful blend of versatility and competitiveness: ACU listed him as an INF/RHP, and he logged big innings as a starter and reliever while ranking 10th in the WAC with 77.0 innings and eighth with 70 strikeouts entering the year[1]. He also flashed swing-and-miss ability in key outings, including a four-inning, one-hit, scoreless relief performance in May 2026[2]. The fit is obvious for teams that want a tough, multi-role arm who can help on the mound and bring gritty, low-drama value[1][2].
