In the 2026 season, Carly Ward emerged as UT Martin’s offensive spark plug, leading the Skyhawks and the Ohio Valley Conference in batting average at .433 while adding 39 hits, 22 runs, 11 stolen bases and a .470 on-base percentage. She earned TSWA Player of the Week honors after an 8-for-13 stretch and a week with a .615 average, showing contact consistency, opportunistic baserunning and top-end competitiveness.
