Tennessee Tech’s big-framed righty with starter upside and a heavy workload
In the 2026 season, Carter Casabella showed he can soak up innings for Tennessee Tech, working as a durable right-hander with a 6-foot-4, 190-pound frame and a history of being trusted in the rotation. His early-college note was a strong 2025 debut with 5.0 scoreless innings, and recruiting evaluations pointed to a higher arm slot and fastball in the upper-80s. The swing skill is consistency: when his command holds, he can look like a competitive starter; when it slips, the box scores get loud. He fits a team that values size, strike-throwing growth, and development runway.
