Jay Parker

Jay Parker brings steadiness and floor leadership to UIC’s backcourt

Jay Parker is a reliable, low-drama guard who gives UIC value through ball security, steady decision-making, and enough scoring touch to keep the offense organized; UIC’s roster bio notes a 1.3 assist/turnover ratio and a 75.0% free-throw mark, which point to a composed, playable backcourt piece[5]. He’s the kind of guard coaches like because he can help a team function without needing the ball to dominate, making him a sensible fit for programs that want discipline, maturity, and a connector rather than a volume scorer[5].
