Austin McNabb is a high-upside Dayton arm with real swing-and-miss juice
In the 2026 season, Austin McNabb emerged as a versatile Dayton right-hander who was used in both relief and high-leverage spots, including a save and a win in Atlantic 10 play, which tells you the Flyers trust him when the game tightens up. He’s listed at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, giving him the frame teams love for projectable velocity and downhill angle, and his freshman-year workload suggests he can handle meaningful innings. The appeal here is simple: size, strikeout ability, and composure in pressure moments—useful traits if you want a pitcher with starter upside or late-inning grit.
