Robert Johnson gave Indiana a steady, shot-making backcourt punch
In the 2017-18 season, Robert Johnson was Indiana’s senior guard engine: he averaged 14.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game, hit 37.3% from three, and capped his career with a school-record-tying nine made threes in one game. He was valued for his toughness, veteran poise and scoring versatility, and he also overcame offseason foot surgery earlier in his IU run. If your team needs a guard who can space the floor, handle pressure and bring grown-man composure, Johnson was absolutely that dude.
