Cole Pladson arrives in Stillwater as a high-end, two-way Kansas star with pop, speed, and upside
In the 2026 season, Cole Pladson is a freshman outfielder for Oklahoma State who comes in with a very loud amateur résumé: a career .489 hitter in high school, 30 home runs, 156 RBIs, and back-to-back Gatorade Kansas Player of the Year honors. He stands out for left-handed bat speed, on-base skills, plus runner value, and the kind of all-around athleticism that made him a national prospect; Perfect Game ranked him among the top outfielders in his class. If you want a toolsy, competitive bat with real run-production upside, he’s an easy name to like.
