Sneaky lefty with a clean college-ready edge
Jack Wills is a sophomore left-handed pitcher for Evansville whose appeal is built on pitchability, poise, and a low-drama profile that coaches usually love. In his 2025 college debut, he worked two scoreless innings against Illinois State without allowing a hit, showing he can miss barrels and stay composed in relief; his prep résumé also points to a strike-throwing arm with production, including a 1.08 ERA and 57 strikeouts over 32.1 innings in high school. He looks like a smart fit for a staff that values control, competitiveness, and a lefty who can quietly cause problems.
