Shane Duke is a 6-foot-5 freshman right-hander giving Belmont a big, power-armed look on the mound
In the 2026 season, Shane Duke flashed impact stuff for Belmont, including a career-high six strikeouts over five innings against Southern Illinois and a five-inning, one-hit, six-strikeout scoreless start against Indiana State. He also opened the year with seven strikeouts and no runs allowed in relief over his early outings, suggesting a pitcher who can miss bats and handle leverage. The standout here is the frame: at 6'5" and 240 lbs, he brings a downhill look, poise, and enough command to project as a useful rotation piece if the consistency holds.
