Marque Maultsby brings quick-twitch guard play, veteran poise, and upside
Marque Maultsby is a 6-foot-3 guard from Raleigh who brings burst, pace, and polished experience to North Carolina Central; in the 2021-22 season at NCCU, he averaged 6.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists, and later showed he could add value as a scorer and spacer, including a 15-point game in March 2023. He’s the kind of player coaches like for his speed and energy—one pro-team report even described him as “young and explosive, super fast.” If your team needs a guard who can inject tempo, compete defensively, and won’t be rattled by the moment, he’s a fit.
